Sara Lowe brings more than 18 years of professional skincare and beauty experience to Skin Butik.While beautiful, flawless skin is her calling card today, Sara overcame many of the skincare challenges her clients face today. Early treatment for the typical teenage skincare rites of passage awakened a curiosity that changed the course of her life. She grew fascinated by skincare; devouring books and mentoring with estheticians to learn how diet, make-up, sleep and sun exposure play as much of a role in skin health as heredity. She became a pioneering student in what is now one of the top European Skincare academies in the US

Sara began her professional career working for Don Wortham, MD, FACS, a celebrated, triple board certified cosmetic and plastic surgeon. Here, she learned about pre-and post-op skin treatment, and outpatient procedures like Botox. Sara moved on to some of the top spas and salons in Seattle, including an Aveda salon that catered to distinguished celebrities and tourists.

Sara opened Skin Butik in 2000 to focus exclusively on the world’s finest, non-invasive skincare treatments. Skin Butik honors Sara’s Swedish heritage. The unique Personal Spa approach ensures that clients receive the utmost personal attention while fully relaxing in a safe place, free of inhibition and scrutiny. Skin Butik’s décor reflects Sara’s penchant for clean lines, cool colors and fine European fashion and design.

In 2010 I excitedly graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute for Esthetics. From then I practiced in Aveda concept spas before gaining hands on clinical experience with the best lasers and clinical brands available. I then returned to the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute to pursue my studies in Education and becoming an instructor to share my love of esthetics for the past 5 1/2 years. During that time I also worked with Vida Spas, a 5 star luxury hotel brand based in Canada, there I was introduced to the science of Yon-ka. I am most passionate about quality of life being integrated into our daily routines through self care. I think the chemistry and physiology of products and our skin can be a fascinating topic. I believe in the magic of massage and the effectiveness of a skin routine both at home and in the treatment room. My efforts are to help others have a place to find rest, reduce stress, gain clarity in their skin concerns and feel heard. Ultimately, always feeling lighter when they leave than when they arrived.

Nicole Natale

Nicole brings with her 28 years of experience in the spa industry. After finishing studies to achieve her aesthetics license in 1997 she later returned for training to earn her Master Aesthetics license in 2014. Over the years Nicole has worked with several globally renowned skincare brands which has maintained her excitement in this always evolving industry.

Most of all Nicole loves the relationships she has made over the years, she enjoys working with her clients to make sure they are comfortable and feel heard. Her greatest passion is helping her clients achieve their skin and wellness goals through providing the latest in results oriented skincare treatments and personalized home care plans that will further their results.

After working in a large bustling salon and spa, Nicole is excited to be working in this beautiful, serene, and intimate space.
